Correctly inflating foil balloons is key to ensuring product display and longevity, especially in wholesale procurement and global distribution. This article details the standard steps for inflating foil balloons with air or helium, common mistakes and solutions, and shares professional advice from manufacturers.
Foil balloons are a high-demand product for the party planning industry, party supply distributors, and event decorators. They have a shiny surface, float longer, and customized foil balloons can be applied to a variety of scenarios. However, incorrect inflation can result in reduced floating time, product damage, and even customer complaints.
At GreatTime, we supply hundreds of thousands of foil balloons to more than 50 countries every year. Based on our years of production experience and customer service reports, we have summarized a guide on how to properly inflate foil balloons. If you plan to buy foil balloons in bulk or are already distributing foil balloons, this article may bring you some help!
Find the inflation valve
Each foil balloon has a self-sealing valve. Gently insert the valve into the inflation port. Avoid over-insertion to avoid breaking the internal valve.
Inflate slowly
The foil balloon must be inflated slowly. Generally, it is enough to inflate it to 85%. Do not over-inflate. Foil balloons will not expand like latex balloons. Gently press around the inflation port several times after inflation to increase the inflation time of the balloon.
